Dr. Dawn C.P. Ambrose PhD is Principal Scientist at the Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (Indian Council of Agricultural Research, ICAR), Regional Centre, Coimbatore, India. She obtained her BE (Ag) and ME (Ag) degrees from TNAU, Coimbatore. Her field of specialisation is agricultural process engineering and she obtained her doctoral degree in the above field at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India. She has 22 years of experience in teaching and research. She has developed equipment and technologies in the field of postharvest mechanisation of horticultural crops.
She has published five books, 22 book chapters, 37 research papers and 51 papers presented at conferences and 43 publications in magazines, technical bulletins, newspaper etc. She is a life member of many professional societies. She is a recipient of awards in oral and poster sessions in various conferences..
